If you’re unable to give 100%, would it be a waste of time to still show up to do whatever “percent” you could?
Without fluctuation where would we draw inspiration or research from?
Practicing yoga is the learning of how to quiet the chatter, to keep practicing and refining our ability to find this idea of one-pointedness.
The more consistent the more capable.
The better we are in tune to what creates the imbalances, the roller coaster of percentages or even the narratives for why’s or why nots.
The less consistent we are the easier it is for the chatter to re-enter our psyche, and the less able we are in discovery, the more prone to living in our chaotic mind stuff.
The practice of yoga is literally showing up through it all. The tired, the “enter said emotion”, the stiff, the flexible, the injury, the all!
So show up.
Just do it.
Learn something about yourself.
Attempt to remove the label or narrative, and maybe find a sense of gratefulness that you stepped again toward consistency, re-enforcing discipline, and integrity of breath.
So going back to this question of 100%… YEAH! Of course it is! Come, show up for 100% of whatever your ability is in this present space/ moment!
Remember words are powerful. They speak themselves right in to existence. Take note of how you speak to yourself and practice speaking (especially to yourself) in a more positive way.
